Customer Reviews for PULSAR Pulsar Digisight N750 Nightvision Riflescope

PULSAR Pulsar Digisight N750 Nightvision Riflescope

Whether you're hunting, observing nocturnal wildlife or in the security industry, a high-performance, digital nightvision riflescope is an invaluable tool. Best for use in low-light to blackout situations, the Pusar Digisight N750 Nightvision Riflescope uses an integrated infrared 780nm laser illuminator with three-step power adjustments and Generation Digital nightvision that let you see far-off objects in total darkness. The laser beam's angle is wide enough to illuminate the riflescope's entire field of view, and the digital nightvision is immune to damage from bright-light exposure – it can't be ruined by headlights or street lighting and can even be turned on in daylight. It has a highly sensitive CCD array of 25,000 hours and OLED display that provides crisp, saturated imagery. It also features SumLight™ signal processing, one-shot zeroing, a video input/output port, Weaver accessory rail, flip-up objective cover, built-in clock and remote control. 67mm eye relief ensures your safety when using this riflescope on high-recoil firearms. Fully compliant with US FDA Class 1 laser eye safety requirements. Durable composite body. Requires four AA battery (included). Due to popular demand from our varmint-hunting customers, we have found some of the best nightvision riflescopes available. Cabela's does not condone the use of these products for illegally taking big-game animals after legal shooting hours. Check local game laws for legality in your area.

Pimp it for better performance

Date:June 20, 2013
OK, The unit is well constructed and light compared to some of the units I used in the Military. I bought the "Doubler adapter on ebay from "colmarlowe" Which works on the principal of the "Cantilever" is anchored at the top. The beam carries the load to the support where it fits nicely into he scope 's recessed housing in the front and is forced against it by cantilever force. Cantilever construction allows for structures without external bracing. (Think of the Golden Gate bridge) Then I added the Yukon doubler night vision scope lens. (Nothing made for a camera) to colmarlowes "doubler adapter" and SHAZAM! I also added a TNVC torch pro IR Illuminator on top of the unit (The doubler lens adapter from colmarlowe has a rail accessory on top of the cantilever) and I am looking at insects on big white flowers at 100 yards! (You have to adjust the focus knob on the scope, and the diopter on the eye piece and it is very very good. But here is the kicker. With the yukon doubler lens on "colmarlowe's doubler adapter I can screw the Yukon lens in or out to fine tune the focal length (And lock it with the locking ring) and I can now see insects on white magnolia flowers at night at 100 yards!!! (Colmarlowe is an engineering genius)He takes a good scope and makes it phenominal!!! I am watching deer out at around 300 yards and I clearly saw a does urine stream with amazing clarity!!! (With the TNVC Torch pro IR illuminator) If you are only going to use the onboard IR then unscrew the cap and remove the black honeycomb light diffusor from the onboard IR illuminator and that works "Good" on its own (If you are using colmarlowe's doubler adapter with the Yukon doubler lens)

Awesome digital nightvision

Date:April 17, 2013
This scope is the best night vision I've seen for the price. No worries about bright lights or daylight killing your scope. Plus if you connect a external video monitor you don't need to be looking through the scope I.E. shoot around corners! With a full moon the infrared isn't needed. It looks like daylight. With a quarter moon or less you'll need the IR illumination. My recommendation is to buy the external battery. AAA batteries don't cut it. Well worth the $$

Horrible.

Date:March 15, 2013
Thank goodness for Cabela's high level of customer service- made the return of such an expensive item simple.
I have been an avid shooter and marksman for almost 31 years. This is, hands down, the worst scope I've ever used- and I have used digitals before.
First, set it up and used it without a weapon. The "new" screen is garbage and flickers every few seconds. Both night and day, with and without laser IR.
True magnification feels less than represented, even with 1.5 switch active, but I may be mistaken here.
"Sumlight" setting is worthless.
Set it up on a simple .22 long.
After 4 shots it shut down. Brand new batteries- after every shot it shut down. In order to turn it back on you have to turn the switch/dial back to off, then turn it on again.
In my humble opinion this scope is worth $50 maximum.
And just try- I dare you- to get someone from Pulsar to assist.
Again, kudos to Cabela's customer service.
