Spend that little extra,

"I chose these to save the $70 difference between these and the Nikon Monach binos. I loved these until the first time I used them in the feild. The diopter adjustment with the knob sticking up in the center with the focus ring is the biggest downfall and mistake to these binoculars. They are super crisp, clear, and I could look through them for hours. However out on the feild that diopter kept getting bumped and moved on me and it just was not working out for me in a quick need situations. I am taking them back, hoping Cabela's will take them back, and spending the extra money for the Nikon Monarch binoculars. If you are just used for sporting events they would be great but I would not recomend them for hunters."

"These have been great for the money. They are not as good as higher end optics, but you get what you pay for. They have fogged up once but was because it was from being in freezing temperatures to getting in the truck. I recommend these to anyone needing average optics for hunting."

Don't buy,

"I was very excited to get my first pair of "nice" binos. I know these are not high end, but they were way better than what I had before. At first they looked great for the price, but after taking them hunting I found my self adjusting the click ring in the center all the time. They never seemed to focus the same for both eyes. Next, the ring below the eyepiece came loose. Then the other ring came loose. Then the eyepiece came off. They were all glued on! How could Leupold have thought the glue would hold over time? I have only had them one year and they have only been on two hunts. Needless to say, I should have just spent the extra money and purchased the Nikon Monarchs like everybody recommended. I am asking for the Nikon pair for Christmas and will let my kids use the Leupold Acadia binos."

"my dad recently bought one. everything about this bino is great, except I HATE how you have to unscrew the eye piece out before using it! a week or two of using these, the eye piece fell off. We had to glue the eye pieces to the darn thing. This product could have been better if Leupold didn't make the screwing thing before using it!"

"I purchased these bino's about 6 weeks ago. The first weekend i used them i had to glue the eye piece back on. Now i am having problems with the other eye piece.The optics are crystal clear, but i feel that the over all quality is very poor for the Leupold name. I would not recommend these to any body."

"Binoculars are sharp and clear, easy to use with my glasses. The lens cover set up looks like it is going to be cumbersome, not sure how much use they will get, but the case looks sturdy enough that we may be able to just leave the lens covers at home."

"These are great binos. These have a very clear and sharp view. The only problem i can see with them is the camo that they put on them will peel off if you try to peel the factory decals off. I think Leopold could improve on this for the price you pay for them.For the size and optical quality they are hard to beat for the price."

"i bought a pair of leupold acadia`s because my bushnell`s broke after 10 years of hard use. i used the acadia`s for one weekend and at the end of that weekend i went to roll the eye cover piece out to look out of them and they broke. they were glued on to the lens. how cheap is that? this is not how a company is exposed to run. i didn`t even have them a week when they broke. i would suggest you get something else. they were cheaply put together and i don`t have that kind of money to just blow on cheap things. they are misleading and when i tried to call leupold` support line that was even worse yet. it was unbelievable what i had to get through just to talk to someone. i was on the phone for 3 hours. i never did get the answer i was looking for. i am taking them back and will NEVER get another leupold product again."
