sad but true

Date:February 9, 2009
Origo, you must do better! I had my Pro Hunter 2 Days! And the Face Came Off! I noticed that there were two spots where glue was applied and obviously not very effective. How about a snap in face instead? While returning it I noticed in the bargain cave there were 2 more there. Not Good! Get ready customer service dept. you will be seeing a lot of these.

Hunt Pro Watch

Date:May 28, 2008
My only bad comment on the watch is the band on the watch doesn't come large enough. Today's population has a larger body frame so the watchband is out in it's last hole with no extra room. I asked for the largest band and they said the one they sent was the largest. As well as the watch functions I hate part with it. It does everything it's suppose to do. Great watch so I'm trying to find a band to fit that will go on that style watch.

TRIPLE 7

Date:March 2, 2008
This watch looks nice enough to wear all of the time, not too clunky like some of the competition.
I purchased the Hunt Pro model and particularly like the sunrise/sunset tables and the best hunt/fish times. I refer to the latter two subjects when afield and it is nice to have this data along with the barometric pressure in all in Hone place.
Other watches have the pressure and altitude function, but not the ability to lock the altitude so as to easily detect pressure, i.e. weather, changes when stationary in one place.
Bear in mind the geographic locations available for input are generalized so precise sunrise/sunset dtaa, etc. is not
avaiable, but usually pretty close.
The ballistic tables are a nice feature and easy to set up for three different loads/guns.
Negatives are few.
One must still remove the watch to get an accurate tempearature reading, but as far as I know virtually all such watches require this.
The band is not too large, but fits my wrist. A fairly large person might have trouble with this.
The manual while complete is not the best written and I had to go through it a couple of times to get comfortable with the watch and its features. An example is the background light feature. I found out how to turn it on almost by accident. Again not a big thing, a small irratant.

O.K. but not up to expectations.

Date:February 20, 2008
I have mixed feelings about this watch.
Pro's:
The moon phase, ballistics, best hunt times, and the compass features all work great. The watch is easy to use and has a big display. The temperature feature is accurate if you are not wearing it (which only makes sense).
Con's:
The watch is huge!!! It is too big and heavy to wear every day. I only wear it in the field. The instructions need to be better. They are not very detailed or even in proper English. The sunrise/sunset feature is worthless unless you live in one of the select few major cities. There is over thirty minutes difference for sunrise between me and the nearest city on the watch. While I sit at home it says the altitude changes +/- over 50ft and I live at sea level so I am sure of my position. The weather trend is somewhat accurate, but it has yet to say it is sunny outside. Also, I am an average sized man and the watch band barely fits around my wrist. In the field I was relying on the the compass and it failed. Luckily, I remembered how to recalibrated it, so the first few times out, I suggest you take the instructions if you have a bad memory.
Overall I would say the watch is fair. The features that work make it nice, but not what I expected. The altitude and barometer features were not worth the extra money. I would maybe suggest the other model that is one step down.
