Excellent Tent

Date:July 4, 2013
I have owned this tent for 2 years now and have been caught in many rainstorms, light and heavy and have never had a leakage problem. This tent is great for camping and I really like the screened in area where you can sit or cook food without the bugs getting you. I would recommend this tent for everyone.

great but with one problem

Date:November 12, 2013
The only problem is it leaks. After set up the tent leaked during a recent storm. The rain cover is the issue. I would recommend this product.

Elite Weathermaster 6

Date:July 7, 2013
I've owned this tent for about 3 years, and we've taken it out camping several times. Though it did rain on occasion, we did NOT have problems at first with leakage. However, we did experience a time where it did rain heavily and it did leak. We bought some weatherproof spray for the rain fly, and we haven't had a problem since. Along with sealing all the seams (which you should do with any tent.) We also have been very careful with the light system along with folding and storing the tent to keep from the switch or light socket breaking. If you just take good responsibility and care of the tent, it should hold out well. I love this tent. And with all camping gear, take good care of it, and it will take good care of you.

Sunny and clear counts as weather right??

Date:May 14, 2013
First off, the name of the tent is a joke. I purchased this tent knowing that I would never be taking my family out camping with any threat of heavy rains, but I fully expected it to make it through the occasional shower.
After reading many of the reviews I made sure to use seam sealer throughout, but on our first time out with this tent, we had some light rain start up in the morning and ended up with a large pool of water on the floor. The water was seeping in through several seams that I apparently missed. I have owned cheaper house brand tents that offered better protection.
That said, the tent design is nice, the door is wonderful for our 5-year old, and the mounted light with switch made getting kids into beds and tucked away a breeze. The small vestibule/patio is nice but cramped, it provided some protection from the rain so we could eat our breakfast.
Overall, the tent is in need I some work, but it should serve out needs over the next several years.

Weathermaster Tent LEAKS

Date:August 21, 2013
Very spacious tent. Love the floor plan. However, the tent leaked from floor seems leaving two puddles. Rain fly does not protect from wind. After light rain and 20mph winds, water was dripping from ceiling. It appeared as if water was blown under "short" rainfly above door/window onto mesh ceiling. Expected better performance. Tent was returned. We are going to try the Eureka Teragon 10. If that does not perform better, we'll move to the Alaskan
