don't buy!!

Date:March 28, 2013
Purchased last Dec.
Every time out i would have 1 of these problems:
Pause button would not work, expert call would shut off in middle of series, volume would stick (either loud as it would go or low as it can go).
Returned to Cabelas for new one. New one lasted 1 month before all same problems started. Just long enough that i could not return to Cabelas.

This call has an amazingly clear speaker and is real easy to figure the call out. Plenty of animal sounds already loaded on the caller. If your looking for a call this is the one!

Primos Alpha Dogg

Date:March 11, 2013
Got Primos caller as an anniversary gift. Took it out on a ranch in West Texas to call Grey Fox. First place I tried caller I had 7 foxes coming in to call !!! killed 5 Grey Fox on the first nite of use and saw approximately 20+. The "My Hunt" setting is great for customizing your own sounds. If you want a good electronic call this is it!!!. Remote is large enough to see at night, and best thing is it runs off of 2A batteries!!
Good job Primos !!

1 improvement needed

Date:January 29, 2013
Bought the TurboDawg on Thursday. Took it out Saturday for the first ever yote huntin. Within 20 mins, had two come in. Same evening had a yote running full speed, 10 mins after calling the first set, jump the call and look at it as going over. Never experienced any of this since it was my first ever yote hunt. Had the call placed on the ground, but the remote issues on the last setup with bean stuble interference between the call and remote. Definitely buying another TurboDawg.

Range is terrible & functions are limited.

Date:January 3, 2013
Only works the way it should over 15 yards. Caller and handheld both need to be elevated significantly to work reliably any further away. That is so dumb. My blue tooth phone, an amplified bluetooth speaker, and a predator call app works much better. It reaches 150 yards on the ground, and the app will blend other call sounds in and out at variable volumes so they all work together at the same time. Too bad they are not camo or waterproof. Wish I never bought the Turbo Dogg. Needs a complete design overhaul.

great caller for the price

Date:January 2, 2013
i bought my turbo dogg in early December. The sound quality is amazing! it is now January and aprox. 95hours on the first set of batt. it is noticably quieter. but easily heard a 1 1/2 miles away! (confirmed by another hunter in the area.) ive used it for coyotes and snows. works great for both. have not used the aux spkr. jack yet. the only issue i have is with the remote reception. Line of sight is not so much the issue but seeps as the ground causes interferance of sorts. attached a 3 foot long rod and a strap and it works great. i would reccomend this product but dont even try putting it on the ground you will spend more time waving your hand in the air then hunting.

Poor remote reception

Date:February 13, 2012
On the ground, 60 ft for the remote as long as there are no obsructions, including grass.
Elevated 3 ft, almost 100 yds.
Elevated 6 ft, almost 150 yds.
sounds fine, but I think maybe no coyotes came in because I had the caller on the ground 60 ft away and had to keep waving the remote over my head to get a connection to the caller. Very disapointed with the internal antenna design. I made a 6 ft tripod to make it useful, wonder if the song dogs will care?

Wicked!

Date:January 19, 2012
Got this call with high hopes, well beyond my expectations, sounds great near and far, price at cabelas CAN NOT be beat, no distortion at 100% volume, When I opened the box and saw how small the caller was and how big the remote was i was skeptical but the big remote is easy to find in my bulky camo coat and the small call echo's 100's of yards across fields, first day i took her out within 9 mins i took a nice male yote at 81 yards with 000Buck shot, Wish this came out a few years ago!! great job Primos and Cabelas!~

Killer call

Date:January 11, 2012
Got this for X-mas from my wife and couldn't be happier. Small enough to fit in my Cabela's Yote seat and has some real nice features like the clip that holds the remote on the call. All call sounds are good to top quality, and loud too. I will never use full volume where I hunt, I usually set it at 75 to start out my set and turn it down around 60 after 10 min. or so. All the Randy Anderson sets are the best I've heard from any e-caller. Take my advise and don't listen to the nay sayers and get this call.

Fantastic Predator Call!

Date:January 11, 2012
I can't say enough good things about this call. I got this call, put the batteries in it, and headed to the woods. Put on the territorial set and within ten minutes had a dead coyote at 200 yards! Previously had the Spitfire and didn't have such good luck. (mostly because of the sounds). This call has great volume and good remote distance(100+yards). Had the volume on 93 and had a group of coyotes howl back from 3/4 mile away. All I can say is that it is a fantasitic call I would expect to pay a lot more for the quality of this call.

Fantastic call for the money

Date:December 27, 2011
If you're like me and don't want to drop $400+ on a glorified megaphone, then this is a perfect call for you. Operates perfectly from 100 yards ( haven't tried it past that), easy to add sounds downloaded from the internet, and does not get distorted at high volumes. I've used a brand that rhymes with locksfo, and I cannot tell a difference in sound quality. User Interface on the remote is intuitive, and battery life is very good. Considering you can buy this caller and a gun to shoot the coyotes with, for the same price as some e-callers, I would say this a great buy.
You don't need to wait for Primos to post new calls, as there are an abundance on other websites.

Awesome!!!!!

This call is amazing no lie. You will not be disappointed, Its worth every penny. I set this up in the morning on an open wheat field ,and turned it on the dying rabbitt and within 2 minutes I had 2 coyotes running to me. The only thing I didnt know was that their was a third one running beside me right towards the call, turned and killed him at 30 yards. I could not believe it, trust me this call will be the ony call u will ever need.

If you want to kill coyotes and fox

Date:December 21, 2011
I have the Flextone Echo, it works great, it calls in fur thats the main thing. The call works well and is dependable. When i am out at 2am in freezing weather i want a ecall that calls animals, not one that has good customer service.
My SIL bought the Turbo Dogg, it is great, it and the echo are the best ecallers we have had callins with.
It is easy to run the remote, the sounds are great and it is easy to load sounds. Randy Anderson does speak the language and these calls prove it. We get 140 yards with it 6" off the ground.
Do you want customer service or do you want to be a fur killing machine. Buy a call that calls them in and operates great, not just a call based on a company that will fix it. It shouldn't break that easy anyway, and Primos is a great company.
Forget the rest go with these 2 they ARE the best.
First night out with the Turbo Dogg we took 3 fox and 1 dark red coyote. We have $500 ecallers that do not perform as well as these. Meaning calling predators to kill range.
