I purchased a layout blind and was anxious to use it, but was disapointed that it seemed to scare the geese so I purchased the Avery blind kit and have had much better hunting. It really works at breaking up the outline of my blind. I purchased the winter wheat kit.

Durable, comes in many colors, but I think there should be more in the box. Buy it on sale to soften the cost.

This is some tough grass

I have used Avery Killer weed grass on my duck blind on my hunting boat and found it easy to work with. I could tie it to secure it to the blind making it easy to add to the blind (an Avery boat blind) and it looks great.

The product is of good quality and works well BUT it should be offered in a size/quantity to adequately cover a layout blind. They should also place tie straps in to prevent the need for another trip. I understand price points but packaging costs money so overall expenditure will be reduced in larger quantities. Tie straps are cheap.

Product is "okay" especially if you live in an area with no grass, weeds or corn/bean stubble. The bundles are difficult to work with as far as length, tangling etc...
However it is durable and the colors are good. If you buy it, do yourself a favor and be prepared to spend a lot of time cutting and unraveling. Product makes a good BASE layer but do not rely on it alone, you will still need to add your own "local" grass or stubble for your layout to be well concealed.

Recently used Avery layout blind and KillerWeed on several morning duck/goose hunts in the pothole region of North Dakota. Product covered the blind well, stayed in place and the birds obviously never knew I was there.

The Avery Killerweed Layout Blind kit is definately a useful item for at the ready concealment. I purchased two packs and these only just covered my Avery Finisher blind. This wasn't satisfying as on the box it states one kit will cover one standard Avery blind (finisher included). Color wise, not too bad, but for where I shoot in New Zealand I may have to dye it or add some more natural vegetation.

This is a great product. It definitely helps blend in any layout blind. My only complaint is that the all terrain is much darker than the picture on cabelas. Will go with a lighter color next time.

I bought this kit to help improve some blind material. I thought it would be a synthetic that would provide increased durability over natural materials. It is not. If you do not have access to grass like material this kit will work for you otherwise I recommend using onsite material.

only problem was trying to decide what color to use each time i went hunting. multiple colors and good quatities of each will hide you most anywhere
