I shot both 30 30 an 270 my grand daughter droped a spike last nov. at 107 yrds. with H&R single shot 270 150 grain, good ammo great price an no doubt it does the job. will be buying more

Great value. Alway keeps a 1 MOA (or less) in 5 shot groups at 100 yards out of my "Model 1 Sales" AR15 (16" barrel). Smooth chambering (I ony use 5 round mags for this caliber in a AR15), No jams, sticking cases, or stove pipes just works! Easy clean-up I use a brush twice through then three patches and a final oil patch and I'm done. Drops 250# hogs right on the spot at under 200 yards.

30-06 ppu ammo

Every casing stuck in the chamber. Had to use a fiberglass rod to dislodge them. will not be buying this ammo again. I have used Remington, Federal, Winchester, etc. and never had a problem. I still have 2 boxes, anyone want to buy them?

I fired these out of a Mosin-Nagant M44. These rounds grouped well (2" at 50 yards) with open sights, but could be better with a scoped rifle. The bullet does a great job on wild hogs. I shot a 240lb boar at 110 yards and it only ran 30 yards before dropping. I also shot a 160lb sow at 45 yards and she dropped on the spot. The bullet recovered from the boar showed good expansion and obviously did the job. The bullet passed through on the sow.

Good Ammo-Budget Priced

I have tried PPU is about 6 different calibers. I compared 4 brands in 308, including Black Hills 168 gr, and PPU was the most accurate. I tried 6 brands, all 55 grain, in 223/5.56 and PPU tied for most accurate. In 9mm, PPU 115s were more accurate than WW white box but not as accurate as Silvertips. PPU 45 auto was about the same as White Box. 7mm08 was nothing special, but respectable. PPU burns as clean as most and far cleaner than White Box. Never a failure to feed or fire. PPU 7.62x39 feeds really nicely and is the least expensive brand with reloadable brass. Easily the best buy in ammunition. Oftentimes, I can't reload for what I can buy PPU for and I am not one to try to work up super accurate loads. I reload to save money. The bench gathers dust when I can obtain PPU.

Very inconstant, dead on to 5 inches at 40 yards in my mosin 1942 Izzy . Every shot went off, this is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. It was extremely difficult to clean my barrel. This has to be the dirtiest ammo I've seen. 2 boxes of soft points and 1 box of FMJ, what a waste of money and time.....

ppu ammo

just purchased several boxes of ppu in .30 carbine. it is fine for the price. just that the fps is a little less(150 fps) than the other ammo i was using, so had to adjust the sights on my m1 carbine to compensate. lesson here is don't mix different brands when shooting. ppu ammo overall is a good deal.

i've shot this ammo in various calibers and had no problem shoots well out of my 91/30 nagant and my 1893 turk mauser. i get great grouping and no feeding or ejecting problems reloads well and burns clean cant beat it for the price

I've used this ammo in .223, .308, 7.62x39 and 7.62x54R. Shoots accurately, always fires, always feeds, clean in the barrel.
It is now my ammo of choice for hunting. It gets the job done at a really decent price.

I shot three white tail this past deer season with these. I have shot more expensive ammo than this but these do the same job. They go where I want them too for less money.
