Good stuff

Date:February 28, 2010
This ammo is the same as wolf. My father has been shooting Wolf in his Colt ar-15 for a few years and had no issues. And he never cleans his rifle. On the other hand i clean my Stag Arms L2 after every outing. I myself have never experienced a single jam or misfire. This is great stuff for a weekend of plinking just putting lead downrange. It is not the most accurate, but there is a compromise. And also i have heard the steel cases are harder on extractors, but with the cash you will save go buy a few extractors.

tula 223 causes jams

Date:February 22, 2010
Orderd some of these and took them to the range 2/19. In a H&R rifle the steel caseings would seize in the chamber of this single shot rifle had to knock them out with a cleaning rod, as a note brass rounds worked fine. Also these rounds were difficult to extract from a Savage bolt action rifle. I suppose the tighter talerances caused the problem for single shots and bolt actions....

Excellent Bargain

Date:February 20, 2010
Great for the price. decently accurate considering what it is, and fed perfectly. Of course I Maintain my rifles properly. Does seem a bit weak though. I almost contemplated switching buffers to aid cycling, but it ended up running fine. Definitely not the nato rounds my LMT prefers, but it works. Oh and the 1st poster was correct. this is the same MFG as wolf. Wolf's own website says its manufactured by tula cartridge works. It shoots identical as well

Works fine in a Stag

Date:February 18, 2010
I can shoot a 5 inch group at 80 yards with iron sights. That precision is probably me, not the ammo or weapon. I don't shoot any better with other ammo. I've only shot about 400 rounds so far, all without a problem.

Exactly what I expected

Date:February 13, 2010
Well, the price of a case of these was so cheap I thought I would try one. Out of my Rock River standard A2 today I got about 40 to cycle alright and then the problems started. Every 4th or 5th round would be a failure to feed (which I think may be due to these rounds being fairly underpowered, I thought) or a jam or failure to eject. So if you have a short, informal shooting session like hunting potatoes or dirt clods they should do fine. And yes, they are very dirty.
