Great gun!

Date:December 23, 2006
I am fairly new to hunting and the past four years I have used my father-in-laws .50 Cal Hawken. This year I decided to get into the new age of muzzleloading and bought my first inline. I decided to go with the Sidekick because it had the break action and it was a great price. All the reviews that I had seen were right. This is a great gun! Known as the "Deerless Yooper", I knew that I had to bag my deer this year and I did. I had the highest confidence in my rifle after sighting it in and when that buck came into my sights, it was done. This gun is very basic to use and easy to clean. The only bad thing was the slide sights on the windage. Would love to see some notches in the slide to make adjustments a little more practical.

NEF Sidekick Rifle

Date:November 27, 2006
Outstanding product. Accurate right out of the box. No "bells and whistles", just a well made, simple to operate black powder in-line rifle with excellent sights. The break open design makes it safe to use with the young ones and folks just getting started in the black powder in-line rifle hunting game. based upon its design it is also a snap to clean. Utilizing 777 powder and standard 209 primers got my buck with one shot. Have since shot three more does. Great hunting tool.

New England Side Kick

Date:November 27, 2006
This purchase was for a friend of mine. I purchased a N.E. Slugger Deluxe 20 ga. last year and bought a 50. cal. muzzleloader barrel for it and I have been very impressed with the quality and simplicity. That is why I bought the Side Kick for my friend. He has been shooting it and loves it. We are just getting ready for muzzle loader season in 2 weeks and both of us can not wait to take these guns to the woods.
I will continue to recommend these products to other hunters I know.

NEW ENGLAND SIDEKICK MUZZLELOADER

Date:November 26, 2006
I recently purchased the New England Sidekick Muzzleloader and am completely satisfied with it. I own about 25 muzzleloaders from low end to high end in quality. I rate the Sidekick equal to the much more expensive muzzleloaders that I own. Out of the box it shot half inch groups at 50 yards. It is easy to load, cap and fire. More importantly, it is easy to clean and maintain. I thought using the cap holders would be a hassle; however, it is the easiest to cap muzzleloader that I own. It is definitely a very good gun.

A short in-line lnghts my season

Date:November 21, 2006
All the reviews I read concerning the New England Arms .50 Side Kick muzzleloader couldn't have been more accurate. This simple in-line is easy to use, easy to shoulder, functions flawlessly and with the supplied fiber optic sights shoots unbelievably well right out of the box. I can't wait to use it in my first muzzle loader season just four days away. After showing two friends of mine the results I had, they asked me to order one for each of them-I've now had my hnads on three of them-each as pleasant as the other. New England Arms has a real winner in this fairly priced in-line, Thanks for adding yet another reason for me to be out in the woods.

NEF muzzleloader

Date:October 18, 2006
Excellent accuracy, shoots as well as my T/C Omega, handy little gun for short range/thick cover hunting. Easy and fast to prime or remove the primer even with groves on. Each primer carrier can last more than 20 shots. The only drawback I found is the hammer is too high to use low rings for the scope.
